Trip Highlights
Everest Base Camp-Chola Pass-Gokyo trek is one of the most exciting and adventurous trekking routes in the Khumbu region. The route starts from Lukla and reaches Gokyo Lakes, Gokyo Ri and the high points of Cho La Pass. The trek also allows you to discover the rich culture of the Sherpa people.
The trek begins after a 30 minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The Everest Base Camp-Chola Pass-Gokyo Trek will be more challenging than the regular Everest Base Camp Trek. This trek is less popular than the classic Everest Base Camp Trek. The trek requires more accommodations and food. However, the trek provides spectacular views of the world's highest mountains.
Aside from the high mountains, you can also admire the turquoise lakes of Gokyo. You can also visit the monastery of Tengboche, which offers Puja every day at 3 pm. You can also see the moraine of the Khumbu glaciers. The trek takes you through the serene alpine forest. You can also visit the trekker's photo point at the Everest Base Camp. This trek is best done in the early spring or in the autumn.
The Everest Base Camp-Chola-Gokyo trek offers incredible views of the four 8,000 meter peaks of the Khumbu area: Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Nuptse. These four peaks are part of a larger Himalayan range. You can also see the other peaks of the region, including Ama Dablam.
The trek also includes the Cho La Pass, which is one of the three major passes in the region. This mountain pass leads to Gokyo-Ri and then leads to the main Everest trail. The hike to the Cho La pass is also a technical one, since the trail goes through icy terrain. It is advisable to use microspikes for this trek.
The trek also features Kala Patthar, which is a famous viewpoint for the Everest area. The views of the snow-covered peaks of the region are breathtaking. You can also take a side trip to the Khumbu Icefall, which is a natural frozen waterfall that is located in the Himalayan valley. The trail to the Khumbu Icefall will be easier if you're prepared.

Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Trek breafing ,gear check and shopping if we needed.
Flight to Lukla and trek to Phakding 2600 meters) 4 hours walk.
Phakding to Namche Bazaar 3400 meters) 6/7 hours walk.
Rest day for acclimatization (3400 meters).Today we go for hiking Everst view hotel or Thamo village.
Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3860 meters) 6 hours. Overnight at lodge.
Tengboche to Dingboche 4400 meters) 6 hours. Overnight at guest house.
Rest day at Dingboche for Acclimatization.Today we go hike up to Chhukung valley 4700 meter and back down to sleep at Dingboche.
Dingboche to Lobuche 4900meters 6/7 hours slowly.
Trek to Gorekshep 5100 meters 3 hours and than we take our lunch at Gorekshep.After the lunch We climb up to Kalapathar 2 hours and back to sleep at Gorekshep.
Early in the morning we hike to EBC( Everest base camp) 5360 meters and back to the lodge ,take our breakfast and trek back to Dzongla 4600 meters.6/7 hours.
Today is tough day because we going over the Chola pass 5400 meter. We will go to sleep at Draknak 4600 meters. 7/8 hours.
Draknak to Gokyo 4700 meters
Climb Gokyo Ri in the morning 5483m and trek downto Machhermo 4400 meter
Machhermo to khumjumg 3600 meters
Khumjumg to phakding.
Take a morning flight back to Kathmandu transfer to the start hotel.
Rest day or sightseeing day or shopping day in Kathmandu.
Final departure from Nepal to your home country.
Note:- This Trek has lots of options for making longer days.

Last Minute Booking
We accept your last minute booking with 100% payment (07 days before tour starting date ONLY IN CASES OF NEPAL TRIPS, but LAST MINUTE BOOKING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTABLE FOR INDIA, BHUTAN AND TIBET TRIPS).
Refund:
No refund will be made for a 20% deposit amount in case of cancellation of trip for any other reason. Having paid the full amount of any trip, you’re entitled to incur a refund in case you want to cancel your trip. Still, the cancellation charge is invoiced to you. Written notification of your cancellation should be made to cancel any trip. Nevertheless, you’re imposed cancellation charge as advised below: -

Supplement Charge: On our adventure and holiday tour with trekking packages, rooms in the lodge on route or tents are provided on twin sharing basis. For a single room supplement charge will be imposed on the client who does not have another tour participant to share room/tent with.
Incomplete Tour:
No refund will be made to clients who drop out or quit from the journey regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary.
Amendment in Tour Cost: We reserve the right to revise the pricing rate mentioned at our website, under any circumstances, or on the pressure of various external factors that are further than our control, for instance, changes in the exchange rate, government action, etc. But, we put forth an effort to keep at the present rate.
Unforeseen Circumstances:
If the company cancels your trip due to unforeseen circumstances like bad unfavorable weather, natural disasters, conflict, trail bad condition (landslides), etc., we will refer you to an alternative trip of a similar standard. Even if this doesn’t fit your interest, all payments paid by you to our company will be refunded. But remember, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of the booking are entirely your responsibility.
Clients' Responsible:
A tour/trekking guide who represents Mountain Eco Treks deserves all authority during your trips. If you commit any unlawful act, you are compelled to leave the tour. No refund will be made in such a case.
